Build a little worldbetween your books.
Norviel kits arrive laser-cut, pre-wired and lit from the inside. And unlike everything else on the shelf, each box prints its own numbers first — difficulty, piece count, build hours, finished size. No guesswork, no abandoned half-builds.
Five shelves, five moods
Every Norviel kit belongs to a series, so you can build a shelf that reads like a set instead of a random pile of boxes. Mix series and the shelf still holds together — the palette is shared.
NV-BS · 05 KITS Bookshop Series
Lamplit shops, tall shelves and the smell of paper. Where Norviel started.
NV-CC · 05 KITS Curious Corner Series
Pharmacies, detective offices, music rooms — the odd corners worth peeking into.
NV-FW · 03 KITS Faraway Series
Glasshouses, night skies and towns that only exist between two books.
Kits people actually finish
A kit you never finish is just an expensive box. That is why difficulty, piece count, build hours and finished size sit on every card — you pick the weekend, we ship the match.
How much weekend do you have?
Pick a difficulty and we will point you at the kits that fit best — matched on piece count, build time and how fiddly the LED wiring gets. Two questions, thirty seconds, no email required.
Four evenings, one shelf, zero swearing
Slot-together panels, pre-stripped LED runs and a QR code that opens the video build for your exact model. Here is what actually happens, evening by evening.
EVENING 01 · CHECK THE SHEETS Every kit ships with an illustrated step guide, a piece-check sheet, spare fittings and a QR to the video build for that exact model.
- 01 Lay out the sheets
Nine laser-cut plywood sheets, each one labelled. The sheet map is page one of the guide, so you know what you are holding before you snap anything out.
- 02 Build the shell
Tab-and-slot joints hold themselves square, so you barely need a ruler. Glue the load-bearing joints only — the guide marks exactly which ones.
- 03 Wire the lights
Pre-stripped LED runs, colour-coded plugs and a labelled battery box. The touch switch is already soldered — you plug in and test before the roof goes on.
- 04 Dress the scene
Books, plants, crockery, a coat on the hook. This is the stage that takes the longest — deliberately. Nothing goes on the shelf until you are happy with it.

The three things everybody asks
- Do I need my own tools?
- No. Glue, tweezers, sanding stick and spare fittings are in the box. A pair of household scissors is the only thing we assume you own.
- What if I break a piece?
- Snapped a panel or lost a hinge? Tell us the model number and we post a replacement part free for two years — no receipt hunting, no shipping charge.
- Is it too fiddly for a beginner?
- Read the difficulty label before you buy. Beginner kits use big panels and forgiving tolerances — most first-timers finish in a single weekend.
